Good morning from Germany#, where total debt has reached a new record of ~€2.3tn. In the first half of 2021, the corona crisis led to a financial deficit (net borrowing) of general govt of €80.9bn. When measured as a percentage of GDP, the deficit ratio was 4.7% in H12021. h/t Holger Zschaepitz
