Chinese Estates surges nearly 30% in HK after it said it had proposed to be taken private by Solar Bright for HK$1.91 bn.
The firm is a major shareholder of China Evergrande. It had recently sold $32 mln worth of Evergrande shares and planned to offload entire stake.
