There has been massive booms within crypto for such a small market (3 trillion at its peak). Ethereum essentially came in and became the exoskeleton for the organs (Btc). It saw a massive pump which saw it go from mere dollars to thousands as its use of digital application building became more apparent.
Then we saw a distrust in banks and the birth of decentralized finance, I honestly don't think this will die out. I'm betting even if only 1-2 of them survive defi is too big a concept for it to just fade away. There will always be people building and trying to create the next gen digital finance.
Then came NFT's and that whole debate. It will definitely have its uses in the future, the market just hasn't quite figured out what yet imo. Then we saw NFT gaming as well which I think will be massive in a decade or so.
However, with every new cycle there's a massive boom. I think by the next bullmarket privacy coins could see a massive uptick in support due to recent economic stuff like petrol/ gas prices and governments wasting taxpayer money which ultimately leads to inflation and higher taxes.
I also think security tokens may be a thing, that's just a dark horse prediction though. More so because digital security is a growing sector and as time passes our lives become more digital by the day so there's that. Any ideas for the 2024 - 2025 bullrun? Give us your best predictions.
