Market Update: Israel April Jobless Rate Steady at 5-Year High
The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate in Israel stood at 5.4 percent in April of 2021, unchanged from March’s five-year high, amid the effects of a prolonged pandemic crisis. The number of unemployed persons increased by 1.1 thousand to 220.2 thousand, the highest since September of 2014.
