Market Update: NZX Extends Gains
New Zealands main stock index rose for the second straight session on Tuesday, with the benchmark NZX 50 climbing towards the 12,550 level as gains in the energy and consumer staples sectors offset losses in consumer discretionary. The largest percentage gainers on the index were A2 Milk Company Ltd and Sanford Ltd, up 2.3% and 1.6%, respectively. Skycity Entertainment Group Ltd fell more than 5%, the most on the NZX. [/s2If]
