Market Update: Brazil Car Production Increases in May
Car production in Brazil rose 1.0 percent over a month earlier to 192.8 thousand units in May of 2021. Output increased 0.8 percent to 177.3 thousand for light vehicles and 6.2 percent to 13.9 thousand for trucks, while production of buses fell by 11.6 percent to 1.7 thousand units. Meantime, exports of vehicles jumped 9.1 percent to 37.0 thousand in May.
