Market Update: Finnish GDP Grows for 2nd Month
Finland’s gross domestic product expanded by 6.4 percent year-on-year in April 2021, accelerating sharply from a downwardly revised 0.1 percent rise in the prior month. It was the second straight of increase in the economy, as production of both services (7.8 percent vs 1.1 percent in March) and agriculture, forestry and fishing (5.7 percent vs 4.1 percent) grew faster, while production of manufacturing recovered (3.0 percent vs -2.6 percent in March). source: Statistics Finland [/s2If]
