Market Update: Indonesia Trade Surplus Largest in 6 Months
Indonesia’s trade surplus widened to USD 2.37 billion in May of 2021 from USD 2.02 billion in the same month of the previous year and slightly above market consensus of USD 2.3 billion. This was the thirteenth straight month of trade surplus and the largest figure since last November, amid a further rise in exports as global demand improved.
