Market Update: Argentina Inflation Rate Slows to 3.3%
The monthly inflation rate in Argentina eased to 3.3 percent in May of 2021 from 4.1 percent in February and slightly below market expectations of a 3.7% rise. Prices slowed for food & non-alcoholic beverages (3.1 percent vs 4.3 percent in April) but advanced faster for transport (6.0 percent vs 5.7 percent) and recreation & culture (3.1 percent vs 1.5 percent).
