Market Update: Argentina Current Account Surplus Widens in Q1
Argentina’s current account surplus widened to USD 690 million in the first quarter of 2021 from USD 6.9 billion in the corresponding period of the previous year. The services account deficit narrowed to USD 612 million from USD 696 million a year ago while the primary income shortfall decreased to USD 2,267 million from USD 2,981 million. Also, the secondary income surplus widened to USD 328 million from USD 260 million.
