Market Update: Trinidad and Tobago Holds Interest Rate at 3.5%
The Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago left its benchmark interest rate unchanged at 3.50 percent on 25 June 2021. The Monetary Policy Committee said that developments in the energy industry and pandemic-induced reactions by the public and private sectors shaped the domestic economic picture in the first half of 2021.
