Market Update: Taiwan Consumer Morale Weakens in August
Consumer confidence in Taiwan declined to 75.43 in August of 2021 from 76.92 a month earlier, as four out of the six main sub-indices deteriorated: the timing to invest in stock markets (down 9.5 points to 56.3), the family economic outlook (down 1.25 points to 90.36), employment opportunities (down 1.2 points to 69.45), and prices in the next six months (down 0.2 points to 42.45).
