The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) said in a regulatory filing that complaints about unintended braking by Tesla had more than doubled since February, from 354 to 758. NHTSA has given Tesla until June 20 to respond to the brake issue.
On June 3 local time, US President Joe Biden mocked Musk’s concerns about the economy and praised his rival when asked what he thought of Musk’s “preparing for massive layoffs” and “feeling bad about the economy”. Musk hit back on Twitter.
