Greetings for the abbreviated trading week in the United States.
The current trend shows a moderate aversion to risk with yields on the curve 2-3 bps lower. Spoos, or S&P 500 futures, have dropped by 12 points and the yen is leading the way. Investors are hoping for more fiscal stimulus from China.
Regarding the financial statistics, the US’s housing project initiation numbers for May will be released soon and predicted to be the same as April at 1.400m. This concludes the economic data update for the time being, but we will also have speeches from Fed’s Williams and Barr at 11:45 am ET.
