The EV6 and Ioniq 5 standard models are equipped with electric motors of the same specifications. The standard trim 2WD model has a 125kW electric motor mounted on the rear axle, and the 4WD model has a combined output of 173kW with motors mounted on the front and rear axles respectively. ​ The difference in performance between the two vehicles is from the long-range model. Ioniq 5 Long Range 2WD is equipped with 160kW and 4WD is equipped with 225kW electric motors, while EV6 Long Range is equipped with 2WD 168kW and 4WD 239kW. ​ Moreover, the EV6 is also equipped with a high-performance GT model.
