Market Update: Finnish Consumer Morale Weakens in May
The Finnish consumer confidence indicator declined to 2.7 in May of 2021 from 3.8 in the previous month, as most the major components deteriorated clearly from the previous month: expectations concerning their own economy (11.9 vs 12.1 in April), consumers views on own economy now (3.8 vs 9.0), and consumers views on intentions to spend money on durable goods in the next 12 months (-8.4 vs -6.9).
