Market Update: New Zealand Manufacturing Sales Rise the Most Since 2016
Manufacturing sales in New Zealand grew 4.3 percent from a year earlier in the first quarter of 2021, accelerating from a revised 2.1 percent jump in the previous period. It was the biggest gain since the third quarter of 2016, with transport equipment, machinery, and equipment manufacturing having the largest increase, up 6.9 percent ($208 million).
