Market Update: Slovenia Producer Inflation Rises to 9-1/2-Year High in May
Producer prices in Slovenia went up by 3.5 percent year-on-year in May 2021, after 2.4 percent rise in the previous month. It was the highest producer price inflation since December 2011, mainly driven by increase in prices for manufacturing (3.4 percent vs 2.3 percent in April), mining and quarrying (5.9 percent vs 4.3 percent). Moreover, electricity and water supply price inflation were unchanged at 5.7 percent and 3.3 percent respectively.
