Market Update: Mauritius Industrial Output Drops at Softer pace YoY in Q1
Industrial production in Mauritius fell to 5.6 percent year-on-year in the first quarter of 2021, following a downwardly revised 11.4 percent decline in the previous quarter, as the output fell smoother for manufacturing (-5.5 percent vs -11.2 percent in the previous quarter); mining & quarrying (-0.7 percent vs -5.7 percent); and utilities (-9.2 percent vs -15.0 percent).
