Market Update: Morocco Inflation Rate Edges Down to 1.5% in June
The annual inflation rate in Morocco eased to 1.5 percent in June of 2021 from 1.9 percent in the previous month amid a slight slowdown in prices of both transport (7.1 percent vs 9.5 percent in May); and food & non-alcoholic beverages (0.6 percent vs 1.5 percent). Meantime, inflation remained steady for housing & utilities (at 0.8 percent); and leisure & culture (at 0.7 percent).
