Market Update: Slovenia Tourist Arrivals Continues to Climb in June
Slovenias tourist arrivals surged 54.7 percent year-on-year to 375,043 in June of 2021, as the economy continued its re-opening efforts and international travel recovered further. Domestic tourists were up 62.0 percent from last year to 249,084 (66.4 percent of arrivals) and foreign tourists advanced 42.1 percent to 125,959 (33.6 percent of arrivals). The main countries of origin of foreign tourists were Germany, with 25,730 arrivals, followed by Austria (19,698 arrivals), Hungary (10,737 arrivals), Italy (9,491 arrivals), and the Czech Republic (9,114 arrivals). source: Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia [/s2If]
