Market Update: Irish Industrial Output Growth Quickens in April
Industrial production in Ireland surged 28.5 percent year-on-year in April of 2021, following a downwardly revised 2.1 percent increase in the previous month. Manufacturing production went up 28.7 percent, from a downwardly revised 1.5 percent gain in March. Output rose the most for other non-metallic mineral products (214.6 percent); wood & products thereof (129.9 percent); basic metals & fabricated metal products (95.3 percent); and food products (42.1 percent).
