Any thoughts on Tesla? Q2 delivery number came in just over 250k, missed estimate by about 6k, and well under the previous record of 300k+. It’s still over 20% higher YoY. Now, I am surprised by the number being that high, it’s biggest output, the Shanghai factory, was in limbo for more than half of the time, so I am assuming Berlin and Texas came through and helped to hold up the numbers?
Tesla stated that it is still in progress to meet its 1.5 million goal by end of year, but that means they need to deliver over 400k per quarter for the next two quarters back to back.
What’s your outlook on this?
