The European Commission has made the decision to ban the use of Huawei and ZTE 5G equipment in all EU countries. What was previously a recommendation has now become a legislative ban. The EC maintains that the cybersecurity threats posed by the Chinese companies' equipment are greater than those of other manufacturers.
